Locas por la lana are especially fond of Nordic yarn made of natural fibres. There is a reason to this: nature gives us only the best of qualities, thus ensuring that our handicrafts will look better and last longer. The materials we deal with are wool – either lambswool, goat- or alpaca-wool – flax, cotton and silk. Wool is an all-time favourite, no matter what project you might have in mind.

If you have never tried felting before – now is the right time. It’s easy and great fun! Las Locas are hooked on these cool slippers that can be made in all sizes. You simply knit plain on all needles. Once you weave in the ends, it will look like you’re holding up an unattractive (to say the least) pair of knickers. But: when you sew two seams and put the “knickers” right in the washing machine on 40º - wonders will occur! Two ugly knickers will come out as a lovely pair of slippers. You won’t believe it till you see it!
